Practicing Law with a Purpose
I became an attorney to fight for fairness. My practice of law is built on the principle that everyone deserves respect and accurate information in order to advocate for themselves. For those who are unable to self-advocate, I am committed to treating them with dignity and ensuring as much autonomy as possible.
I attended American University, in Washington, D.C., then returned to my hometown to attend Lewis & Clark Law school. Studying law revealed my passion for people and public advocacy. My first career in healthcare had taught me the importance of the relationship between the person seeking care and their medical team. After graduating from law school, I knew that relationships and information were key to meeting people’s legal needs as well.
After several years at a law firm focused on civil legal needs, I began my own practice centered on estate planning (wills & trusts) and probate (guardianship and when someone passes). My success in these areas fuels my expansion to other areas of expertise such as immigration law, employment law, and business law. A core feature of my practice development is dedicated time to Pro Bono (volunteer) opportunities for causes that impact us all.
I look forward to learning what drives you.
